Introducing Jill Coghlan-Uttridge, LCSW
Jill Coghlan-Uttridge is a clinical social worker licensed to practice in North Carolina. She received her Masters degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1996. For the next nine years she conducted therapy in Denver, Colorado, specializing in adolescent and family work. She worked in the areas of juvenile justice, social services and offender specific treatment. While living and working in Denver she chaired a committee overseeing child abuse investigations and participated in an organization to examine the continuity of care for sexual abuse cases. Jill has been trained in offender specific therapy, victim clarification, family treatment and couples work. She has also treated individual women struggling with issues of depression, grief and self-esteem. Jill has worked with a wide array of clients identifying a variety of issues. New to the Raleigh area, Jill will now be available to see adolescents, individuals, couples and families at the Cary Counseling Center.
